Percy Lee Jones III

Game Designer/Developer

Hello! Welcome to my portfolio

Who Am I?

  • I am a software developer with an in-depth technical background and a life long passion for game design/development. You can check out my stats (resume) on the about me page [here]

  • My current dev engine of choice is Unity3d with C-sharp to which I have over 15 years of experience with that tool.

  • I am also a semi profession TTRPG game master with a great deal of analog game design experience in that space as well. Check out some of my content creation work on my TTRPG design page [here]

What Do I Do?

  • My design focus is on open world content, level and quest design as well as narrative design writing, but I am also passionate about the technical side of executing those designs as well as creating tools to make designing easier on the designer [Me lol].

Project Spotlights

GameJam: Islands

minijam_Title_edited.jpg

Islands is a turn based rogue-like with a variety of skill based minigames sprinkled throughout. The player takes the role of a mushroom rum runner pirate and they will sail around the map, collecting mushrooms, brewing those mushrooms into their special rum, and then selling this highly sought after product to the nearby taverns. While the player is doing this there will be countless other pirates and sea monsters looking to stop you.

Ongoing Dev Work: Project Labyrinth

Project Labyrinth is the working title of a 2D isometric Zelda-like project that I am developing in the Unity3d game engine.

The game takes place within the walls of a vast world spanning Labyrinth, filled with adventure, puzzles, fantastical locations within its walls, and interesting NPCs to interact with along the way. The protagonist Hiro [working name] awakes within these walls on the outskirts of a towering central castle with no memory of how they got there or where they came from. They must make their way through this strange place to not only figure out how they got here… but also how to get out.
